You're going to create a video for You never dance alone. It's going to be beautiful!

The choreography consists of different components. The beginning and the end of the choreography are predefined, just like the chorus which is repeated several times. For the chorus, we have created a tutorial video to follow. You will be taught each individual movement’s elements and how they are finally put together to create the chorus. All other elements of the choreography are freely selectable. You are welcome to develop a completely individual set of movement pieces for these blocks. If you are stuck and need some inspiration, we have also prepared some movements which you can use. Whether you use building block no. 4 ("The Pose") for the rest of the dance in addition to the double chorus, you use five different building blocks or even use material you have thought up yourself. It is entirely up to you!

To create a unique dance experience, some guidelines for your own video:

> Video length: 2min 05sek

> Video format: mp4

> Maximum file size: 15MB

You can convert your video here:  https://www.ps2pdf.com/convert-video-to-mp4

> If you have problems with the video format, on newer iPhones you can set them here: Settings > Camera > Formats > Max. Compatibility

Instructions

First of all: it's not about perfection, but participation and fun!

These are the steps that should be considered first:

A. Download the music. There are always clear cues in the music. They will give you orientation. The chorus is easy to identify. Here we suggest that you dance the choreography from the tutorial.

B. Learn to dance the chorus with the help of the tutorial.

C. Make a mask if you want and need one. Be inspired by the crafting instructions. Unleash the bricoleur inside you.

D. Plan the building blocks you want to use for your dance.

E. Wear a meaningful costume - or don't.

F. Find a place in your home or in the nature of your surroundings where you feel comfortable and suitable for the shot.

G.Rehearse or make a direct recording of your dance. Note the intro and outro (see choreography modules). The outro is introduced after 1:54. Try to time the start of your video with the beginning of the music. This will ensure the best possible synchronicity between the different videos!

In the following steps, the individual choreography modules will be introduced to you in more detail.

-- Modules (binding)

0. Pre-Intro
The Pre-Intro lasts about four seconds. After the "shot" (in the music) start the video. Here we go

1 Intro
The intro lasts 12s. you'll enter the picture from below. You got plenty of time. So be very dramatic on the way up. Or you come up a few times and then drop again, etc. The end of the intro is introduced by another "shot", followed by a pause and repeated clapping (0:06–0:18)

2 Refrain (0:20-0:34 / 1:24-1:54)
Music part A: Building blocks Hugging the head - Go away – Sneezing (0:18-0:32)

Transition Music

Music part B: leg back and forth or jumping jack (0:36-0:50)

Directly in

Music part A: Building blocks Hugging the head - Go away - Sneezing (0:50-1:04)

Note: with the 2nd chorus the repetition of the A-part is omitted

3. Outro (1:52 to close)
Turn around yourself once, walk towards the camera and press stop

-- Freestyle (suggestions below) 1:04-1:26

4. The pose
Take a pose and hold it during a building block for one minute

5. Language bubble
Use the module for a voice message. Self-written, given, read or whatever

6. Music
Make music to the sound either with an instrument or your voice for one block. Cacophony works too

7. The image
Paint, draw, spray a picture, or show us something pre-made. With or without an explanation

8. Improvisation
Move completely free and let the sound animate you. Or not. You can dance, sleep, pose, vogue, battleground. Butoh- Folk dances work too

9. Lion King
Show us the animal in you. What does it look like? Only you know...
